Why WAVE?

Wave discs look striking, but there are also distinct performance advantages.
The edge of the ‘Wave’ ensures constant pad cleaning, reducing the build up of debris and improving water clearance,
The shape of the outer and inner profiles allow the disc to expand without deforming.
Aluminum centres are heat treated for strength and anodised black for durability.
Limited range of carbon centred discs are available for competition use. These ensure increased rigidity with reduced weight. The centres are multi layered carbon fibre impregnated with resins which ensure constant performance at high temperature.
Floating rotors further reduce risk of deforming.
Rotors are mounted on riveted steel bushes.
Wave discs will work very well with original equipment brake pads. However it makes sense to fit the pads developed by the company that make the discs!
BRAKING CM55 pads feature a sintered compound, ideal for ‘aggressive road’ or track use.
One piece Wave rear discs also available.

All BRAKING products have TUV ‘Abe’ validation and are stamped to ensure correct coding and traceability.
